Mark A. Hovenkamp Attorney at Law

After practicing over 16 years in civil litigation practices in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas, Mark Hovenkamp relocated to Austin and worked 10 years in a legal and policy advisory role with a statewide regulatory agency.  Recently, Mark formed his own firm based in Austin, Texas  to offer his services to private clients.  Disputes are often unavoidable.  His approach to client problems is straightforward and direct and his solutions are a product of years of experience in litigation,  corporate environments, and in the regulatory field.

Mr. Hovenkamp has practiced for more than 30 years representing clients in litigation of a wide variety of disputes and as advisor and counselor in the regulatory field. He has extensive trial experience and is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Texas as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit.

Mark is a graduate of Texas A&M University in the field of Agricultural Engineering.   He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law.
